Co-founder, began his career by being accepted into TechFutures, a prestigious training program founded by Ron Whittier, former Senior Vice President of Intel Corporation, and his wife Ellen Whittier. Tom has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California Berkeley, where he was a Regents and Chancellor's Scholar, president of the premedical fraternity, and former lecturer of undergraduate biology. His plans of medical school were put on hold to concentrate on bringing ground breaking mobile solutions to the diabetes market. Tom is the lead developer of Glucose Buddy and oversees all interface usability and technical aspects of its development.
Co-founder, left his background in finance at Merrill Lynch for something more meaningful and closer to his heart. Formally trained in Business Management and Entrepreneurship at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Matthew designed and implemented financial strategies for ultra high net worth clients at Merrill Lynch. He is in charge of marketing and long-term strategies for MYLEstone Health. Matthew has had Type 1 Diabetes since 2003.
Advisor, has lead teams of engineers, manufacturers, and design professionals for over 25 years. Bruce was co-owner of Caterline Plastics which was a completely vertical company; designing, developing, tooling, manufacturing and marketing their proprietary products. Caterline was successfully purchased by WNA, Inc. in 2001.
Advisor, Doug has extensive experience in consumer and health care driven businesses. Doug's strong background includes Director of Marketing and Sales at Samsung, Worldwide Director of Marketing at Becton Dickinson, and Marketing Director at Novartis Consumer Health.
Advisor, has spent more than thirty years in the medical device industry. His extensive experience includes more than fifteen years with Kendall Healthcare Products Company (now Covidien, Ltd.) where his management responsibilities included: General Manager of the Operating Room Apparel Division, Vice President - Planning and Business Development, Vice President and General Manager of the Critical Care Division, and Area Vice President - Western Europe.
Advisor, has more than ten years of business development, transaction management and product commercialization experience across a wide range of medical device markets and technologies. Chris Davies is a member of the Utah State Bar, the Licensing Executives Society and the American Burn Association. He holds a JD degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, Michigan and a BA from Saint Anselm College, Manchester, New Hampshire.
Intern, Mandy helps implement marketing strategies that imbue virtual branding. Mandy has worked with The Shoe Garden, a well known boutique in New York City, and design house Alice + Olivia. She enjoys Facebook (who knew that would be something you'd put on your resume), networking, social event planning.
